When you dont comb your hair much durning the week and whe when you wish at the end of the week you loss a lot of hair?

Maybe it's just me, but I want to know if anyone experience the same thing.

Thank you

Definitely simsim. I washed last nite and I had hardly combed throughout the week and I had shedding...but this is the shedding that you would have seen in the comb throughout the week had you been combing, so I wouldnt worry. Since joining this board, I realize that shedding and breakage are two different things. Since moisturizing and deep conditioning w/ all of the recommedations on this board, I dont get breakage at all. Now I am finally retaining some length.

Like Lunalight7 says, don't worry, it's normal, especially being that it's only hairs that have been "waiting" to be combed out during the week.

I've finally got great long layers in my hair and throughout the week, I don't comb my hair unless I need to. I only have to do a fluff or two with my hands and fingercomb it and its good to go. On Saturdays I usually grease my scalp which is when I comb through it and lightly brush it. When I finish, my sink is scattered with hair and I don't freak out because they're all shedded hairs. I just scoop them out and throw them away.

yes, you are not alone. I initially was alarmed when I combed through my hair recently and had a sink full of hair. I calmed myself and was reassured by the fact that this was my first real comb out for the week. (deep breath)
