If so, what perm are you using now?
How do you like the new perm and why did you change?

Also if anyone knows where I can get a PhytoSpecific perm on sale please let me know.

I haven't switched and don't plan on doing so, Phyto is truly great in my book.
Yeah what she said. I can actually tell the difference btwn the hair thats been relaxed with Affirm and the part thats been relaxed with Phyto. i cant wait to cut the affirm permed hair out.

Bump.... I was just about to start a thread like this. I realized that some ladies have actually stopped using phyto and I wanted to know the various reasons why before I spend so much money on it.

I'm switching back to no-lye (lye did me diiiirty :nono:) and I can't decide if I really want to try phyto or not.

I did. It's too expensive. They need to put more in the box to make worth it for me. I'm now using Mizani regular and loving it.

I was thinking about switching, but decided to stick with pyhto. My relaxed hair has never been this healthy and easy to manage. I don't want to risk all the progress i've made while using this relaxer, my only gripe is that my fine 4a hair (which has the potential to look thick) isn't as full as before. I'm using index 2 now, but the only switch I'm going to make is to index 1.

Yes, I have. I used Silk Elements (lye) for my last relaxer and I like the results better. Its only been a week, so we'll see.

I thought I was the only one that noticed that. I know I'm not crazy since you've mentioned it! lol

I can't wait to cut out this motions, Texture N' Tones, Design Essentials relaxer (yeah...I switched alot). It's gonna take years but I'm not switchin either.

I'm in total agreement. I am tempted to get rid of the Mizani ends. If I wasn't so vain I would have cut them off a while ago. They are so lifeless and brittle compared to the phyto hair.

I seriously doubt I'll switch unless they change the formula.

This is one of the few relaxers on the market that dosen't turn my scalp in into raw meat and dosen't make my hair break like crazy. (lye does this to me, and its just not ever pretty)

The only other no-lye that I used was At One (who seems have done something with their formula) which was ok even though it burned but not really bad.

Phyto has never burned my head. To me that says a heck of a lot. I've never had hard hair or lifeless hair, or a ton of hair in the sink while washing it out either.

in fact, like a lot of the ladies have said, the difference between the phyto hair and the other relaxed hair is really significant!

So its a little expensive, but,I may as well get the best for the health of my hair and scalp.

I'm so jealous. I wanted Phyto but my budget is SERIOUSLY strained so I got ORS instead as I read it was comparable to Phyto but more economical. At the rate I stretch relaxers it may be next year until it's time for another touch up. :(

How very sad for me.

i tried it once and i wasnt all that impressed. it seemed more like a strong texturiser to me. i will be trying ORS Relaxer next month.

Nope.. not switching...I have used it twice this year... and it is still the Best Relaxer out there. My hair was fabulous for mothers day!!

Yep...its more expensive , but I am worth it!!!

completely OT, but Dogmd your daughter is absolutely precious!!! such a pretty little girl, she reminds me of my cutie pie niece!
