obsessed over your hair since you've begun your journey to healthy hair?

I have... Every little thing that happens with it catches my attention all of a sudden...

I think a good indication that you are obsessed in the first place, is that fact that your even a member here and posting and reading all the posts regularly, especially if you find yourself on here for hours at a time.....

But uhhhh, I'm not obsessed though, I'm different

Umm, I'm not "obsessed"... I'm just a lil umm, well, yeah, I guess u can call it "obsessed"

Well, lemme say this....I was obsessed during my transition, but now that I've achieved my "natural" goal, I've chilled on my "obsessed" ways alot

Ok , coming out of denial a little bit......

I'm not only obsessed with my hair, I'm obsessed about other's hair too, strangers, people on the street, friends, family members, you name it. All I see is the hair first on everyone , everywhere i go!!

I need help!!!!!

Yes I definitely have...I admit it I spend wayyyy too much time on here. also in the past I use to leave my hair up to the stylists to do as they please, and I took all their advice as truth. Now, when i visit the salon I'm a hair tyrant, I watch everything they do, and yes this weekend I walked my stylists through the steps of applying the affirm relaxer to my hair (she got me my cutting 1" off though...fuming). Because of this site, I feel that no stylists is goo d enough for my hair, and now I'ma try to do everything at home, I'm not complaining though

Its all softresses fault that I'm back here again , i had kicked the lhcf habit for a little while dang it. then she did that shout out!!!!

oh yes....all i can talk about is hair and when i sit beside any woman, im usually screening their hair for split ends or those white flakes.........

Yes! I look at others hair and analyze what they need to do....ex.deep condition,trim and I want to tell people on the street join LHCF. In the beauty supply store I had to catch myself, telling customers the benefits of protective styles ect.... I had a soap box. But I am at my worse when I'm at the hair salon all I do is watch each stylist closely and look at the products. The funny thing is now I think I'm more educated on hair than my hair stylist,especially when she said I've been taking verg good care of my colored hair. I just looked at her and said women of color can have long healthy hair with proper guidance.

I am! If some store I go in has a haircare aisle, I can't leave without looking. Even if I KNOW I have no plans for buying anything, I just like looking to see what's there. I pick up bottles, read the ingredients, comment aloud on the presence of ammonium lauryl sulfate, sniff conditioners...I usually go up and down both sides of the aisle twice before I can bear to rip myself away.

I have lhcf keyworded in my bookmarks so I just type "lhcf" in the address bar and go straight to the forum (which is how I missed webby's new entrance at first lol). I used to have the bookmark in the toolbar but I didn't want anyone asking me what it was

I go to random websites looking at the hair care sections (especially on health/vitamin sites) for hours.

I look at everyone's hair all the time, trying to discern what they do to their hair. A lot of girls flat iron and blowdry their hair and you can tell pretty easily for most people. I've noticed a couple girls I see walking between classes that wear their hair up a lot, and if I ever see them with it down, I'm like, "See, look how nice her ends are..."

I can be too tired to take my dishes into the kitchen, too tired to do any more reading or homework, too tired to check my email one last time before going to bed...but you can bet your bottom dollar I'm never too tired to moisturize my hair, tie it up, and take my vitamins.

It's sick, I tell you. Sick!

Ok, I'm coming clean also... Iris yesterday, I was sitting here, clicking on ur hair album every 3 mins, waiting for ur baby's hair updates ... then I'm gone sit here & say I'm not as obsessed as I was during my transition... girl, I'm lying ... I'm prolly even MORE obsessed now that I'm natural. :crazy:
