I was told, if you are transitioning you can put the hair in a two strand twist style and leave that in for months (if you want dreads) and just clipped the relaxed ends off over time. While you are clipping the relaxed ends off your hair will start to lock. Can someone please give me fed back on this. I hope I explained this correctly.

Hey Lee, what you describe sounds a lot like how Alma (another member) grew her dreads/dreds only she used braids. When she described it, I thought it was the neatest idea ever. I visualized neat evenly sized dreads - and I wasn't disappointed when I saw them.
