Has anyone ever blowdried their hair with the cool setting on their blowdryer? Is that sufficient when blowdrying the hair? I've been using it after I wash my braids to dry my scalp and it seems to come out okay...

I've never been sucessful with blowdrying on low heat but I saw use the lowest heat you can get away with.

I airdry now mostly but when I use a dryer that has the ionic technology (ion switch that goes on/off) I can use the cool setting and my hair will be dry. Dryers that don't have the ionic technology will not dry my hair on cool.

I used to use the cool setting with a diffuser attachment on my blowdryer when I wore my hair texturized. Worked great for me, but I don't think it would have worked for straightening my hair.

My blowdryer doesnt have a cool button, but I use the lowest heat setting possible.
