I tried the original hair milk. Smelled like lemon pledge and was very meh on my hair. Her stuff costs too much for it to be all mediocre-like.

I like the Black Vanilla scent but that is all I have good to say about the line. It did not work for me or anyone I know:(

I used the Tui line when I was relaxed and I think it worked okay. I don't recall any horrible experiences, but I also didn't know what to look out for.

I like the Macadamia Hold & Control Smoother. It is the best thing to smooth down my edges and fly away hairs. Fantastic shine and hold. I have the Chocolat conditioner and the blow dry cream in my stash to try at some point.

I too bought tons of products from her line when I first started my HHJ last year and quickly learned that it was not doing the job. I don't buy any of it anymore, it was a waste of money and precious hair growing time.

I hate to say it but - no bueno :nono: I will likely never buy anything from the line again. I jumped on the bandwagon maybe 4 or 5 years ago and it was turribuhl in the long run.

I've used the hair milk and the healthy hair butter. The hair milk was too greasy and it made my hair crunchy, and the smell is loud. I loved the healthy hair butter. It really defined my twistouts and they lasted for a few days without me having to redo them. This was maybe 3 or 4 years ago. I would purchase the healthy hair butter again.

I received a sample of the Hair Milk last year and OMG the smell of it made me severely nauseous!:barf:...i had it in my hair and it did nothing for it but make it feel dry...i had to wash it out immediately:nono:

It smelled like a musty lemon!

Unpopular opinion but I like the healthy hair butter I had to get use to the smell. And I also like the black bean vanilla smoothie. I probably won't try any thing else.

I only use the HHB for my twists. My whole family uses the HHB and I also use the black vanilla leave in as well on mine and my daughters hair as a daily refresher for our twists. I also use her shampoo. I like her products, they are my main staples for twisted and braided hair. I use other products for rollersets and straightening. I have not tried her straightening products.

Personally, her products have always worked for me, BUT... Like others, I agree that they cost too much. I've been getting the same great results with drugstore/BSS products that cost half as much.

I like the Monoi line the smell is really good and its a light protein which I needed, the macadamia product for your edges is cool, but way overpriced, I got it for free with a promotion but I would only re-buy the Monoi Shampoo and Conditioner when they have at least a 20% off sale at any of the stores that stock it.
