Has Anyone Tried the Remington 3-in-1 Steam Straightener (Steam Flat Iron)?

Has anyone tried this product?http://www.brilliantstore.com/health/hair_irons_remingtion_c1100i.htm

It is suppose to be comparable to the Maxiglide. The difference thus far that I can tell is that instead of a "burst" of steam with the push of a button, you get steam throughout the entire stroke (which I think I may like the idea of that). Secondly, there is not a temperature control.

I was hoping that someone would be able to give a product review. I purchased it brand new for $10.00 at a local store. The listed price is different however, than what I paid. I figured there was no harm in spending $10.00 for the product as oppose to $80-$100+. My only hope is that I can achieve the same results for alot less money.

I wouldn't be able to use the product however until I take out my sew-in which will be a little while (My sew-in does not require the use of an appliance). Perhaps, I will find someone I can try it on :scratchch . If you have a review, please let me know. Thanks :)

PS Apparently, there are quite a few of them [steam flat irons] now

Okay no one has tried it. I tried on a few areas of my hair and it seems to be pretty good. I may take my sewn in hair out after while and try it. I think I may like it. I will keep you posted.;)

I bought one pre LHCF. I was using it waay too much and broke my hair off in the back. It worked fine for crimping my hair, but as for the wave plate and the straightening plate it didn't do much for me. :ohwell: It's difficult to get my hair to look sleek. The steam just fuzzed it up.
