Has Anyone Heard of the Ion Hair Dryer?

Hello Ladies:
I was told briefly about this Hair Dryer called the "Ion"...I believe from Sally's Beauty Supply. I was told that this Hair Dryer will not dry-out the hair to damage. The thing I guess that concerns me is that it's called a "dryer". Does anyone know the facts?

I have one and it drys the hair very quickly and my hair does not feel dried out!

You're welcome. I usually air-dry.

I started air drying since this past February 03'.
I guess I was just looking for an easier way out, so that I can dry quickly and go
