Has anyone grown their hair out with China Bump style?

I use bantu knot-out styles alot-- right next to twist outs. I learned from an older Jamaican friend that China Bumps are the same thing and have been used to set the hair in their culture for ages.

I know them as Bantu knots... but yes! This was my primary transitioning style, except that I would do Bantu knot outs, wet set with evoo and something else (usually something random, was experimenting all the time) and airdry over night. the style would last me 4-5 days usually before I would bun it or redo.

It was the easiest style for me to do, as I am not a very skilled braider or twister (apparently).:look:

Only thing I would say is, I had to be careful taking them down, because sometimes the hair would twist into itself causing a knot/tangle.

But otherwise, it worked for me! :yep:
