Blessed Sunday Afternoon,
for the longest time, I have been thinking that in the back of my mind after I'm finished with college I would like to go ahead and permanently remove that pesky hair ( upper lip, chin, etc.) . However, after seeing a news report on a black woman who had this procedure and ended up with severe burns all over her face and neck, this has frightened me soooo much. A part of me says to just keep plucking and nairing, but the other part of me says that that incident was her perticular experience, that I could find a great black doctor who knows what he's doing, and that if i didnt get the procedure, I could never keep up with alternate hair removal techniques, seeing as how I dont now, and it can be very embarrasing. What do you guys think? Has anyone had the procedure with positive results? Anyone is South Florida?
