Just sign up for the tips!!!!! The other day I paid a visit to Cathy's (Howse) website and she talks about the latest gimmick that claims to have come up with a “breakthrough system for black hair growth” and I think that this is the site she talks about. Here is her link and what she has to say about this site:

The latest gimmick that claims to help black women grow long hair

The very lucrative market surrounding Black hair care opens 2005 with many new hair growth gimmicks for the Black woman. Some websites are obviously generated by members of other races using a black face pasted on a web page that claims they found the answer. The latest gimmick claims to help us “grow long black hair” and offers a “downloadable book” only available on the website and steals the very words from my book and website!

The gimmick site that promises to help us “grow long Black hair” says: “Hair is dead, not alive. If your hair was alive, it would hurt you to cut it” and since it is dead, we shouldn’t say things like “hair can suffocate” or “hair is thirsty” this is what I mean about this book being written with common sense”

UBH Book written in 1989 says on page 17 “Once the hair pushes through the skin, it is dead. If it were alive, it would be painful to cut it. Because it is dead, we need to stop saying things like “your hair can suffocate” or your hair is thirsty”. Get the idea about commons sense now?”

The gimmick site that promises to help us “grow long Black hair” says: “Once, after using some of the “guaranteed” hair products, I actually ended up with bald patches!” I tried those products because, I believed what they were telling me in their advertisement. And just like most people, I also got no results.”

UBH Book written in 1989 says on page 16 “Often, after trying a lot of the “guaranteed” hair growth formulas I ended up with a lot less hair. I tried “Sure Growth” products because, like all of us, we listen to the message they send in advertisements that claim to grow hair. Just like most ladies who have tried the same, I also got no results.”

The gimmick site that promises to help us “grow long Black hair” says: “it is truly one-of-a-kind info you won’t find anywhere else”

I say - Uhhh yes you can – you can find it the same place they “found it” from my book and my website!! Plagiarism is the worst form of thievery for a writer.

The pictures on the website LOOK like fake hair. They claim some “break through system” developed in 2004 when it steals the very words from my literature that was written in 1989. And the testimonies are typed in HTML that any body can fake. The author claims to have done some research and it is obvious the only research done was drawn from my website and in my book!

Why don’t they sell it on Amazon.com if it is such a “breakthrough” system? They can’t market it there because it is not legally publishable!! Also the “author” wants to grab your money immediately when you purchase that imitation and yet give you nothing resembling NEW knowledge. The writer is a scam artist!!! Also due to the many viruses out now, you would be foolish to download any thing from a site that is not reputable and spells “SCAM”.

*****That site is an insult to our intelligence*****

Keep educating yourselves on our hair truths and watch out for "prophets bearing false witness.” Everybody and their brother wants to capitalize on what I do, but they don’t know what I do. Even when Madame Walker was doing her thing, there were others trying to copy her too. Once a concept is made available to the public, anyone can adopt some form of it. There are so many things that make me successful, and the reason for my success is simple…I have developed a combination of methods and products that WORK!

As always, continued success my sisters

IMO, you already get all the info from the book on this website.... for free! Or you can by Cathy's book. It is very informative and also cheaper than the book on www.growlonblach.com.

I was reading this site and there is something that just doesnt make sense. This is from the website:

As part of our "Internet Introductory Offer", you can get this book for only $19.95. All shipping and handling costs are included in our special price - because you download it from the internet. The best thing is you can be reading the book in just two minutes from now!

And then a few paragraphs down they say:

But if for any reason you're not happy - you can get your money back… we have a no risk, 100% money back guarantee:

If for any reason you decide you don’t want the book, simply return the book within 90 days and we will refund your money. No questions asked.

   How could you return a book within 90 days if you downloaded it? :ohwell: :ohwell: :ohwell:

If anything, one person should order it and then once they get it make copies and print it out and sell it on here for like $5! Then they should email this company and say they no longer want this"book" and demand a refund!

It didn't sound 100% solid to me...

I didn't want to offend anyone who might have purchased this book by saying it was a scam...

I would still love to know the answers to the questions I listed in my previous post...:D

One thing that stuck out in my mind was when you try and close the site...there is a pop-up that follows with a face that doesn't look like mine. :sekret:

Hmmm suspicious...

I downloaded this for free about a year ago on Kazaa. Someone was sharing it there. I can email it. Honestly, it is all the info we talk about here on the forum. Not worth spending any money.

If you have the time, all you have to do is use the search function on this board to find an answer to every one of these questions/topics. The only one I'm not sure about is the "getting rid of chemicals". Since when has anyone ever been able to reverse a relaxer? Hopefully that topic mentions that you must cut off all chemically treated hair.

I AGREE 100% the only way to get rid of a chemical (relaxer/texturizer) is with a pair of scissors. You can get rid of some color using a product by clairol...
