I can't stand sitting under those things
When I was relaxed and went to the hair dresser I always felt like I was going to pass out under there and would turn it down
I feel you. Ive only had two sucessful roller sets because I can never sit under the dryer the whole time and let my hair dry all the way. I may have attempted it like 12 times. Im sad. I know.
My eldest sister is scared to go under the dryer lol, she says it's too hot under there lol. I think it's ok. Glad to see you're on the cool setting now OP.
Back then I had a stylist who was using I SUSPECT A PIBB. I was coming home from out of ton so I took a 1h30 min drive to her salon . I was wearing a tight hoodiew/ nothing under no tank top , pants with my huge arse igloo boots. When I was under the dryer I almost fainted I KID U NOT.. I was steaming under the dryer and couldnt breath properly..didnt have my blue pump (asthma) . My homegirl who was with me unplugged the dryer when she saw I was about to pass out.
I always feel like I'm about to. My dryer sucks; two hours later and I'm still not dry. Half the time I just give up.
Some people love it. My mom looks so peaceful under a dryer at a salon; she'll read a book, fall asleep, or just sit there looking content; meanwhile I'm across from her getting red in the face, sweating, and scooting down in my seat as if that'll help it be less painful.
I'm glad you made it through! That cooldown is such a relief...
I never thought I would die, but maybe that was what was happening. I would always get unbearably sleepy and just go straight to sleep...a hard sleep...even if I had just awakened to go to the hairdresser. That's one of my vivid memories of going when I was younger....sleeping HARD under the dryer...no dreams. Just sleep. For real sleep. Comatose sleep.
