I go to Jazma. Next month it will be one year since I have been going there. Its funny you ask if I would go back because I"ve actually been thinking of finding another salon.
Don't get me wrong they provide EXCELLENT customer service and they truly do care about your hair (from what I've seen each client has her own file where they document the services that you have had done, which parts of your head take faster to the relaxer etc). Furthermore, there are no long wait times. If you're appointment is at 9 the LATEST you should be in the chair is 915. BUT..I'm still thinking of leaving for two reasons:
1. They are really expensive.
Seing how I"m on a student budget $100+ (if one stylists does everything, relaxer, blow dry and curl) for a relaxer is simply too much (thats not including a trim)
After 8 weeks of new growth they charge an additional $8 dollars for each additional month of new growth. So if I were to stretch for three months thats another $8 on top of the relaxer price. That may not seem like much but again...on a student budget that adds up.
2. I'm thinking I can find similar service elsewhere for a more affordable price. I just need a relaxer (just not bone straight)that leaves some texture in my hair. I have learned a lot from LHCF and feel that no matter what I decide to do with my hair I can incorporate what I"ve learned to perfect my regimen.
So thats my take on Jazma. If you can afford it, go! It is an excellent salon! I guess it just depends on what you're looking for.
