has anybody used....

I have! I'm new, by the way ::shy wave:: And Nay, I LOVE your hair. I wish mine could do that, but alas.

I tried the Moisture Remedy Cream when it first came out about a year ago. It sorta softened my new growth, but nothing dramatic. But just last night, I tried the texture correcting serum. Now, I don't have a blow dryer (have a hooded one, though), so I didn't put it in my hair sopping wet as the directions stated for a blow dry. I smoothed it in there and now it's dry and it is swingy! /images/graemlins/drunk.gif My ends were looking so raggedy just yesterday. I'd tried the CPR and my hair frizzed like crazy. This stuff, coupled with my new fave products, the Giovanni Magnetic line, made my hair look like normal again.

I think the serum and the creme would probably work well in your hair. I know you've probably posted your regimen a zillion times, so I won't bug you and ask again. I'm sure I'll find it somewhere.

HTH

I've used the frizz ease serum before and it was a'ight. Nothing special. I wonder how that Relax line is, expecially that Straight Forward product? HMMM!

nope, i've never used this line. i haven't seen them in the stores but wonder if i'd like them. i have used a couple of the Frizz-Ease products (serum and secret weapon). i really like them both alot!

p.s. welcome, erin! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I use the John Frieda Relax Texture Correcting Serum and it is good. It actually detangles the hair really well if you use it on sopping wet hair, like the instructions say!!! I'm on my second bottle, and that's saying something, when I actually go out and buy a product a second time! /images/graemlins/wink.gif Cuz I'm always looking to try something new /images/graemlins/look.gif

I've tried a couple of things in this line. The Ripple Effect didn't work for me. And they have a moisturizer (Moisture Remedy??? the one in a jar) that softens new growth very well AT FIRST. After using it for several days, it dries the hair out. Also, they have a lotion-like moisturizer which is okay, but nothing to get excited about.

Huh. That is shady. I was vaguely familiar with John Frieda's Frizz-ease line, but I think my hairdresser used it with no results. The Moisture Rememdy was okay for me, nothing spectacular, though, and the texture correcting serum was just amazing. Short of KMS Flat Out, nothing's gotten my hair as smooth. But if it's true that the ingredients in the Frizz-easeline and the Relax line are virtually identical and they're charging a higher price, then I know one line I will no longer patronize.

p.s.: Thanks for the welcome, adrienne! Your hair is an inspiration to me! It's great to be here.

Well, they did admit to using the same ingredient but having different formulations. That makes sense to me. Anywyas, I've been wanting to try these products and need an excuse not to boycott it......

Similarly, since many people have noted the same of Pantene products...just becasue the ingredients are the same, doesn't mean it has the smae ratios and/or proportions. Does this make sense to anyone else?

LOL @ scab on her own boycott! i don't mind the different packaging but to hell with charging us more. the stuff can't be THAT different. i'm gonna keep using the cheaper stuff!!
