Hairveda orders...how long do they take?

After reading the reviews, I ordered just about one of everything from Hairveda. Yes, I am THE official PJ! :yep: My bathroom closet is sooooo full, but I had to try these products. Anyway, just wondering if anyone could tell me how long it took to get an order. I placed my order on October 5th and I got an email on the 6th, but I haven't heard anything else. Ten days seems like a long time but maybe I'm just anxious to get them! :look: The email for BJ, [email protected], didn't work for me.

Sorry, I have no clue, I've never ordered from there.

I just stopped in to say, your braids in your siggy are beautiful!

I ordered on the 6th and same thing. I figured I'd give it a little more time b/c I noticed alot of mentions of ladies "FINALLY" getting their orders in the hairveda thread.

Glad it's not just me! I ordered September 30th and I have yet to receive my shipment. The one item was on pre-order for Oct 3, but that was still two weeks ago.

In the other Hairveda thread, and I believe in the initial email that BJ sends out, she states that the products are HANDMADE and take a little longer to ship. Along with the fact that BJ just found out that her mom has cancer. Give her a little slack ladies. You will get your products!

in the defense of these ladies maybe they didn't know about bj's mother. i looked at hairveda's site homepage, faq's and blog and there is no mention of a 2 week processing time. the initial email stating that the products take "a little longer to ship" is vague and doesn't give an accurate estimate of processing time. i think these ladies have a right to ask.

:yep: We don't play 'round these parts when it comes to BJ...I've used her products for over a year and her service has always been stellar. Her sales volume has hugely increased (and not just from this board) and she takes pride in her products, as well as her family-which should always come first-which is why the turn around time has increased. Like someone else mentioned, her stuff is worth waiting for :).

ETA: on the site it does state that it's now taking about two weeks: http://hairveda.com/blog.aspx

With all the other drama that's been going around I thought it was worth stating!

That's was in the back of my mind too...like that lil skit on In Living Color Kim Wayans used to do: "Bet' not NOBODY say nuthin bad bout Miss Jenkins, unh unh, no chile!" :lachen:Apples and oranges, all day.

i reread the blog and it is on there. i stand corrected. i know how lhcf members are about vendors that are members of this site.

No harm done or intended either way! But I just know that other people were having a problem with another vendor and I KNOW for a fact that BJ is not trying to stiff people. :bighug:

Ladies BJ's products are so good I would wait until the end of time for my fix! Just think about the time that she and staff put into the products! Its like christmas when you get your order!:drunk:

BJ is awesome and wouldn't stiff anyone, she will close her site down to get orders out and she communicates, everytime I have ordered from her it was the Best Customer service. She is worth the wait.

I have ordered from BJ several times in the past year and have always gotten my products within a reasonable time.

My last 2 orders ( the BIG sales) they were shipped that Saturday after I placed the order and I received them that Monday. I was shocked:perplexed and extremely happy:bouncy: at the same time.

I pray that everything works out for her and her family.

Thanks for the replies ladies. I just wasn't sure how long, but 2 to 3 weeks is not too long to wait for what seems to be amazing products! I'm pretty patient. :yep: I will keep BJ and her family in my prayers...I didn't know about her mom.
