Hairgami and hair shedding

Hi,

Has anyone tried the Hairgami hair makeover tools? I have been using the velvet lined version to create a bun (trying to stop combing my hair every day) but I was concerned about whether this is a good idea.

Should I coat the tool with olive oil or something else before I bun to keep it from making my hair shed?

Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere....

Thanks in advance!

I just ordered the hairagami total hair makeover kit... I plan to sew a little cover for it made out of heavy black satin if the "velvet" fabric starts to cause problems.

Thanks for responding. After you have tried it, would you reach out to let me know how it is going, please?

I'm really paranoid about my dry ends so I dipped it in some olive oil (and it is really SLICK now) before I used it today. I plan to leave it up for another day or so to see how it works out.

Take care.

It took me a while to get the Hairagami thing down pat. But now I think if I can find a sturdy, softer fabric, I can make one myself.
