WOW, your hair looks really nice! What is your new regimen?
Im not sure as of yet. So far Ive just used that Argan Oil Sheen by CON and wear a scarf at night. Tuesday Im going to the Dominican salon to get a rollerset/doobie just to experiment how that technique would look/work vs the flat iron.

I rarely see all one length bobs anymore. I love that you just WENT for it, both lengths and styles look very beautiful!

 Lays under the liquor bottle as you pour it out :look: Thanks! I put the texturizer in so I can do weekly rollersets instead of killing it with the flat iron. I know I can rollerset as a natural but eh Im lazy And I cant remember the last time I wore a WNG as a natural  We'll see how it goes. if not I can always transition. I need a regimen too. Havent thought that far ahead yet:lol:

Thanks for sharing! This is one of the main reasons I'm still relaxed. For now. LOL.

Thanks for sharing! This is one of the main reasons I'm still relaxed. For now. LOL.

Flat ironing was where the majority of my split ends were from:nono:. However I never had any breakage or issues with it growing but it still bothered me knowing they were there:ohwell:. Whereas when I wore my hair curly my problem child was single strand knots. So Im thinking the only way I can be natural without a ton of splits and single strand knots is if I kept my hair at SL-APL or shorter and trimming every other month to maintain that length. Since I still want to try to get to WL again we'll see how this texturizer and rollerset routine will help.

Wow I can't believe you relaxed and cut your hair!!

That cut is absolutely fierce. I actually have a wig that looks exactly like that.

BillsBackerz67 Nice!! I love the change :-) Doesn't it feel refreshing!!!

I did the same thing about 2 years ago (cutting my bsl up to neck length) and got a texturizer to reduce heat usage. Unfortunately the texturizer (Phyto) made my hair dry and shed. So I switched to Mizani and that made my hair thin and it was still shedding :-(

I miss my bob, I'm natural again trying to decide what to do next.

I hope you find a regimen so you don't go through what I did. Once you do, please share it (lol, incase I decide to go back to)

Anywho, which texturizer did you use?

Why...oh...why did I enter this thread? I have been seriously fighting the urge to cut my hair into a layered bob, and seeing your new bangin' cut has just made the urge that much stronger!

You couldn't have put it better. Just what I was thinking. OP I love your new cut. I always thought your natural curls was so pretty.

your hair looks so beautiful, I love it. Makes me want to relax tbh. :look: I've been wanting a bob for the longest, i'm trying to find the perfect wig

I know you must be enjoying the quickness of doing your hair. and the lack of heat too

I love it! Your hair is so shiny & healthy and the cut is so beautiful and stylish. Looks like you're going to have a lot of fun with that style...Hmmm, I need some fun in my life through my hair, kinda boring right now.

OMG..it's beautiful! I love it! I so feel you on the ssk vs frequent heat usage dilemma. I'm glad you found a solution for YOU. :yep: I'm excited for your new hair journey! I too miss being able to just roller set and be done with it...no extra. lol

Congrat's girl...as always I will be following your journey! :)

@BillsBackerz67 love the hair!

Regarding locks of love donations. Minimum length is 10".

Q. Can I donate permed hair?
A. Yes, we can accept donations of permed hair.

Q. Does Locks of Love sell hair? Throw away hair?
A. Hair that is short, gray, or otherwise unusable will be sold to help offset manufacturing costs. Locks of Love DOES NOT throw hair away unless it is wet and moldy or not bundled in a braid or ponytail when it is received.

ETA: I only put in the permed hair q/a for those who were thinking of donating but were using chemicals. They only hair they do not accept is locked hair.
