yeah, it was a pretty big cut! there were times when I was very happy with my decision, and times that I deeply regretted it. But, that's life I guess lol. All's well that ends well :3

lol yeah I don't intend to do another big cut any time soon

I probably need to trim my ends. Your hair type appears to be exactly like mine. Last Feb I colored my hair just to see if it is growing. It is growing....the color is now around an inch or so from my ends...the rest black. I don't feel I see the length...making me thing it's breaking off...but, when I pull the twists...they seem longer. Maybe as my hair grows the curls are becoming tighter....BUT when I see your pics, I see the curls are actually growing. It may be hard for me to tell with my own hair because I wear twists 99 percent of the time.

Aw I'm really glad that you found it encouraging. I'm definitely team regular trims. No point in holding onto damaged or thin ends, they only hold you back, and you find yourself having to work small miracles every day just to look normal lol. If you do end up needing a trim, don't sweat it it will grow back. A fresh cut can make you feel like a new person!
