Hair Twins: Find Yours!

Have you found your "Hair Twin" on the Board?

From time to time I see folks mention someone they think has very similar hair to their own. I thought it would be neat to have a thread with very specific hair stats to help us find a hair twin from this Board. My reasoning is that although the same products do not work on everyone's hair, there is a good chance those with similar hair will have success with the same products.

Post your stats then check back later to see if you find someone who closely matches and that will be your Hair Twin.

Here are the factors:
(Answer based on the feel of your hair prior to applying products)

1) My hair is:
A. Natural
B. Relaxed

Length is not a factor here because two people can have the same type of hair but cut at different lengths. (I purposely did not include Andre's hair types like 4A, 3C.) Let me know if I missed a factor that should be included. Oh and if you have a picture that shows your hair, please post that too.

Once you find your twin, you can exchange specific products and treatments that have (and have not) worked for you. There may even be Hair Triplets, or Quadruplets here!!! Hope you find yours...:)

I have differnt types of hair in my head, mostly a tight curl pattern though the nape area is wavy (which I just don't understand) Its not from heat damage or anything like that, just grows that way.:ohwell:

My hair has made many changes over the years, its no longer thin and fragile as it used to be. Of course I think thats because of care. Could be also some things I'm doing differently as eating too.

its normal to oily (my scalp is anyway)I don't add oils to my scalp (havent for many years) I do add it directly to the hair though If I don't wash my head every other day I do get quite an interesting oil slick on my scalp.

Not silly at all. Run your fingers slowly down a single strand of hair (I use my thumb and index finger). How does the strand feel to the touch? Does your finger feel ridges in the strand? If so, I call that rough. It it feel totally smooth, your strand is smooth.

Smooth - When you glide/rub your fingers along your hair strands, it has a continuous even surface, no resistance to sliding, uninterrupted in flow, not sharp or harsh, free from lumps

Rough - When you glide/rub your fingers along your hair strands, it is marked by ridges or projections, feels coarse or shaggy, broken uneven bumpy surface, texture may be unpleasant to touch

2) Describe the curl pattern of MOST of your hair:
A. No visible curl pattern
B. Tight Curl Pattern

3) My hair's overall density (not by individual strand) is:
B. Thin

4) My strands are:
A. Smooth
B. Rough (ends)

5) Strength & Resilience:
B. Fragile

6) Does your hair resist chemical treatment (relaxer, color, etc)?
A. Low Resistance (takes treatment easily)

7) My hair usually is:
B. Dry

8) My hair responds better to:
B. Oil Based Products

9) Without the use of topical and/or ingested aids, in one month my hair usually grows:
B) 1/4 to 1/2 inch

10) My scalp is:
A) sensitive

11) I usually wear my hair:
A) Down, straight

12) To style my hair, I usually:
