I was surprised when the stylist said that, but I have noticed that my two strand twist take 2 days to fully air dry.

Curling/flat irons at 450 degrees? Natural oils for heat protectant?

If he listens to that "stylist" the B will be for bald.

Yea that 450 made me cringe...and telling people not to use heat protectants

My bad, I didn't see this thread. I also posted it but today. I didn't realize hair was not dry in the root until 48 hours later. Those old folks sure did know some things, right? I've been washing much less this past year.

Note: He said in the bulb, not the ends.

the bulb/root of hair lies under the skin. it doesn't get during washing. if skin absorbed water like that a person would drown during shampooing and showering.

That hairdress also said that the longer you wait to wash curly hair the better. So I guess I should go back to shampooing once a month then.
