AHHHHHHH @ how She brushed through her Natural Hair!!! :-O

I didn't think it was too bad. She should spritz her ends with conditioner and water before using the Denman. I stopped using my brush to detangle because it pulled out too much of my hair. Now i use a wide tooth comb first. Her hair is very pretty.

"This is probably the first time I'm taking my time detangling my hair." :perplexed

My hair wept when I saw and heard that. Wept, I tell ya! :cry3:

I cringed, just a little... :look:

As I'm not the least bit "tender-headed," I'll admit that I'm probably a bit rougher with my hair than I should be, but even I was a little surprised at how she was raking that brush through her ends. I guess she can handle it though, her hair is GAWGUS!!! :lick::lick::lick::yep::yep::yep:

I cringed. Even when I knew nothing about hair care I never did that to my hair....*fans herself*

ETA: *face palm*@ 4:38 :perplexed I know those aren't what I think they are :ohwell:

I actually winced when I heard that Denman snapping through those curls. I feel like I felt it in my own hair!!! :lachen:
After that I couldn't watch anymore than 2 seconds.... Maybe I will go back and see what happens at 4:38.

ETA: Wow... she really DID use those dollar store scissors to trim her hair.
She must have those indestructible strands...

looks like she shouldve finger combed each section first before usin the brush...
but hey, whatever.

Her hair looked rough and dry before she started detangling, then once she started the detangling I was smh. She should stop using that brush, and start using some oil rinses and slip conditioners first.

Hate the sound of combs/brushes running through tangled hair, it's almost as bad as nails grinding against a chalkboard. :ohwell:

Silly me asked the Denman saleswoman at the IBSNY show about the split ends issues and about the loss of lots of hair in the D brush and she shook her head :nono:. That has nothing to do with the brush...

If you detangle your hair like that with the Denman, then I can definitely see why someone would lose a lot of hair.

With the Denman, you have to work in smaller sections and you can't be rough. The girl in this video is too rough with it and should have applied a slippery product to her ends and gently brushed through starting from the very tips.
