I found this old post a while back while double checking to see if someone posted about the documentary I was going to called "my nappy roots" which was pretty objective about the history of black hair. The post is http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=2471 and it's not as objective, but I thought it was a good read.... I haven't read Hair Story tho.
