Hair steamer and conditioning cap?

Is there a reason to have both a hair steamer and heated conditioning cap?

I say NO, but I dont own a steamer. I love my conditioning cap and it works fab. Maybe someone with a steamer can give their opinion.

Well I plan to have a dryer, steamer, and conditoning cap. Right now I only have a dryer. Dryer for when I really don't mind sitting under there. Conditioning cap when I need to multitask and when traveling. Steamer for only 1x/month.
