Hair Spray For Your Fro

When I do a twist out or a braid out my hair alway shrinks up. I was wondering if any of you put hair spray to set your hair to avoid it

The only hair spray I use is water and I do small sections with conditioner and coconut oil then wait for it to dry completely to prevent shrinkage. I also started putting my hair in a "pineapple" at night to reduce shrinkage

Hmm I've never tried this. Now that I think about it I don't know why it wouldn't work. I haven't used hair spray in ages. Might try it.

Hair shrinks from products that contain glycerin. Check the ingredients in all your products.

I use olive oil cooking spray, then I go in sparingly with hairspray.
