I just love mixed chicks hair silk but I was wondering with you all help could there be another product out there that is cheaper that I can just go to my local bss to pick up as needed. This product is 11.99 plus shipping and it really would be worth it if they would make a larger bottle. So it is not that I want to give it up I just want to save money because I normally purchase the liter bottles of the other products except the shampoo since I don't use it much but running out of the hair silk so much makes my purchases runs up so much. I have learned to save myself money by purchasing more than needed and therefore saving on shipping cost and the times in between I have to purchase. Like knowing that hariveda takes so long I order 2 once my bottle gets close to half way gone.

Okay, I just read up on the product a little bit. It reminds me of this:

Kenra Platinum Silkening Gloss (which you can purchase locally at Ulta, Trade Secret, and Walmart salons too I believe)

Only store I know is walmart but I have to find one up here that has a salons because the walmart up here in the north is nothing like in the south and I really miss that... even the new products and 24/7 not up here but let me check out NJ because they have nicer stuff than Philly.

Supergirl I wanted to thank you so much for telling me about kenra silkening gloss I got it and it works just as well as hair silk. even though they run the same in price I was able to catch a sale price on ebay for the larger size.. thanks again.

If you ever need an alternative to your fave products, just do what I did and take your bottle to the store and compare ingredient lists. These people shameless copy each other it seems like. I have found several "product twins" with this method. HTH.
