When I use the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave-In, my boo always can tell when I've just washed my hair and he says it smells lovely. I LOVE the scent of Herbal Essence shampoos but I fear they might be drying on African-American hair. However, I might use one of their spray-in styling products just to get the whiff effects.

SitriNillah smells like an orange creamsicle; orange and vanilla blended very nicely.

Silicon Mix either people love it or hate it. It's a clean floral, perfumey scent. If you're not big on things smelling too much like perfume, you may not be a fan of this one.

VS So Sexy smells like the So Sexy perfume and lotion. Also a heady perfume scent. This was one of the first products I used back in the day where the scent actually stayed in my hair, even after using heat appliances. I found that t/b rare in black hair care products (at that time).

they're not any more drying than the shampoos in the black folk aisle! they contain sulfates, which can be bad, but other than that, lots of people here use them with no problems. but if you really want to smell like HE, skip their shampoos, and just use the conditioners! or the leave-ins! most of them smell yummy, and the leave-ins have scents that linger for a while

I have the oil too in the same scent and whenever I wear it, he always shows up giving me a kiss on my shoulders or neck. It has a warm light musk exotic scent to it.
