Hair products that go *poof* in my hair

I have noticed this annoying characteristic of my hair,, when i add even a TON of products , oil etc and i mean a TON withing 2 days its as if i barely used anything,, its like the products just disappear, where the heck do they go??,, they dont evaporate, so whats happening to them?, this makes me add more and more and i wonder how much buildup im getting ( when my hair isnt flat ironed), i could probably apply half a bottle of gel and oil to my hair ( unironed) and withing 2 days its huge and looks like i didnt use any products!!

I know the feeling. Some moisturizers barely last me a couple of hours. Its like you put it on, wash your face and eat breakfast and before you hit the door, your hair feels bone dryerplexed
