Happily retired
I went to the local RiteAid over the weekend and I purchased a heat protectant and a leave in conditioner....it wasn't til I got home and read a thread here (forgot which one) that you should always check the dates on the bottom of the bottles....well how about the date on the bottom of the heat protectant said 2003? Well I ran, not walked, back to the store to take it back....I explained to the manager that I had NO intention of putting something on my hair that was 4 years old ....when I checked the rest of the bottles to replace the one I purchase ALL of the dates were between 2002 and 2005 with the exception of ONE bottle of heat protectant that had 2006 on the bottom of it (of course that was the one I snatched).
Do you ladies think that the companies sent outdated products on purpose since it was a RiteAid in a black neighborhood? Do they send outdated products to the white neighborhoods?
