Hey ladies,
I've noticed when I'm tousling my hair a bit after my shower that I have a few little tiny (about 1/4 of an inch) broken hairs on my hand. I have no idea if this means more moisture needed or more protein. I just did CPR with a little natural protein mixed in under the dryer for about 15 minutes two nights ago and I baggy every night with leave-in condish. I can't figure out my hair right now. :brainy: I most certainly won't have the BIGGGG hair I'm hoping for at this rate. What's the deal?

My guess is that you need more moisture. Maybe you need a different DC or a different leave-in?

Did you follow up the cpr with a moisture rinse? If not you probably just need 10-20 minutes of a good moisturizing conditioner.

If you want more info about protein/moisture balance and how to tell where you fall in do a search for Sistaslick. In her siggy she has links to articles that she has written. She has ones just about protien/moisture balance. Take a look. All of her articles are really good. I printed all of them out.

Thanks for the responses/suggestions, ladies. I'll try a deeper moisturizing DC and then check out Sistaslick's post. Thank you!
