Hair pics

Is it just me? When I take a pic of my hair (Afro especially or if I teased my hair out when it was relaxed ) it always looks bigger in the mirror but when I take a picuture it looks so much smaller. Does anyone else experience this? Or am I imagining things? I know this is such a trivial question but I need to know.

Yup! Same here! Then when I see pics of other people's hair, theirs look sooo much better!

Yes, mine always looks huge in the mirror (wishful thinking?) and then I take a picture and I'm like "Eh"?

Yup, mine too. I think it's a matter of taking pictures of yourself - you can't get the same/right angle that you get while looking in the mirror. Have someone else take a pic, and see if you still have the same disparity...
