I think I'm not too thrill about my hairstyle because it doesn't seem to describe my personality too well.

It looks rather prissy and good-girly. Now, I am a good girl, /images/graemlins/wink.gif , but I'm more of a tomboy than prissy /images/graemlins/barf.gif.

Why don't I change it? Well, there's only so much you can do to medium-length hair when you're trying to grow it out.

So. what kind of personality do you think your hair reflects?

Today...frazzled,

my hair is doing it's on thing. Everytime I go to the ladies room I look in the mirror and it looks like I just ran from somewhere. My hair is also at that awkward medium length.

Okay today I kinda overslept..I woke up 15 min before I was supposed to leave the house so it's a messy bun.

Usually I make sure I have a more polished/classy look. Shiny frizz free hair is important to me so with this humidity I'm always wearing a bun (in the back or to the side) or one braid or my two pocahontas braids.

I think my hair reflects exactly what I usually like, class but not too wild, although I do like that too, but don't have enough time to go for the looks.

This is how I wear my hair mostly on a daily basis--other than the buns that I'm now wearing more often...

I think curly/wild hair implies a carefree personality, fun-loving, bohemian, earthy, etc. Which is partially true--but I feel as I get older, I'm becoming more sophisticated as well--and this style takes away from that side of me /images/graemlins/wink.gif which is why I like the occasional straight sew-in weave. Straight hair makes me feel like a glamour girl and more sophisticated.

ohhhh thanks modelchick,

SOPHISTICATED, that's the word I was looking for. Bingo:) that's me.

By the way I love your hair modelchick.

Thx NAY--I think I'm going to weave it up this weekend. I miss straight hair.... /images/graemlins/perplexed.gif

(Sorry to hijack)

Oh yes, sorry to hijack, but I did see your pics with weave and I really liked those as well:-)

My hair is texturized--so I just wet in the shower, put in some products and let airdry! Yes my hair is layered. The top layer when stretched reaches to about chin length. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think my hair says low-maintenance, carefree and confident. I have a very short natural and that pretty much describes me, except for the confidence part...that comes and goes.

I think I'm gonna come up with a style that better suits me. Also, I think the clothes I've been wearing lately, don't compliment my personality as well either.

And Model_chick...man, I'm hatin you. That's all I had to do to my hair last summer when it was texturized. I tried to recapture those carefree moments again just recently, but my hair isn't quite there yet.

/images/graemlins/up.gif I know you're loving that!

I just got a synthetic sew-in yesterday. It looks decent but I have a top track that I just can't seem to cover up. This guy at work was all like "You got curly hair that same length and your hair looks better so why you go get a weave?" I just wanted to keep my hands out my head.

So today my hair's personality is unbeweavable.

I think the way I wear my bun, mainly with a side part, makes me appear rather reserved/conservative/serious to other people I see/meet every day.
