Hey guys /images/graemlins/wave.gif. I'm looking for something I can put on my hair when it's dry to moisturize it. The oil I use just sits on top of my hair if I put it on when it's dry. Any suggestions?
I think I'm one of the few people that actually luv Textures and Tones Creme Moisturizer. My hair loves this stuff and I have VERY, VERY dry hair!! Also, I got a sample of Neutrogena Triple Moisture Creme Moisturizer. That's some good stuff too!
I really like Profectiv Long n Healthy. Black Cardinal mentioned using this and I tried it with no regrets! A little goes a long way, so don't overdo it!
GREASE AND OIL SHEENS PROVIDE LUBRICATION. ( I DON'T USE OIL SHEEN, HAVEN'T FOUND ONE THAT I LIKE) BUT AS FOR MOISTURIZING, THOES SPRAYS FOR CURLS ARE GOOD ALSO SIMPLE GLYCERINE AND WATER!
Right now my hair is always in a ponytail because it is getting cold. Each morning I
1. Spritz the Roots with Cathy Howse Moistutrizing Dew
2. Add a generous amount of Mango Butter
3. I brush my hair into a ponytail, and on the ends I spritz the ends with Cathy Howse Moistutrizing Dew and then add Mango Butter to the last 1" of the hair and put the entire ponytail into a 2 strand twist. THe twist stays all day because the bango butter is thick.
4. I add a few drops of Wild Growth to my scalp every other day.
I have 4a/4b fine relaxed hair.
It really works for me. The Cathy Howes is better than water because is has moisturizing ingredients. I also sleep on a satin pillowcase.
