Hair Loss - Possible CCCA

rosieposey how do u currently wear your hair?
I have CCCA and I cannot camouflage my hair loss without a wig or weave. Otherwise I wear a bun.

Just left my dr's appt. I received steroid injections in my scalp & a prescription for Kenalog to control the itching & inflammation and possibly help with growth. I return in 6 weeks.

I am going to my primary Dr tomorrow to see if she can give me a prescription for nizoral shampoo(crosses fingers). I have been trying to find another dermatologist that will give me injections or creams but its so hard to find one that specializes in AA hair. I have been contemplating going back to a short tapered cut because it was easier to camouflage my hair thinning but I have spent so much time trying to get long hair and I am a slow grower.

Just received my Strong Roots Red Pimento Hair Growth Oil. It contains:
Jamaican Red Pimento Oil
JBCO
Coconut Oil
Wheat Germ

Gonna apply this to my scalp and see what happens.
