Hair Loss due to Termination of Hair Growth Aides?

I was using surge for about 3 months daily with oils, and had seen great results. However, I decided to take a breakbecause I had was tired of the same "wet look." I had noticed that since I stopped using the product, my hair has shedded even more than before. Clumps was falling out at a time. I was wondering if anybody had experienced this with surge or any other hair growth aide that has made their hair dependent on these types of products?

You're scaring me, I didn't use surge for a few weeks. I just started back last week and my hair has been shedding more than ususal. But I don't know if it's because of my hair being underprocessed or something else.
