Hair Length for a Blowout

So I'm experimenting with my TWA right now, and I'm pretty excited for all the styles I can get! I posted a blogpost about a YT video with 10 styles for TWAs.

Anyway, I wanted to know what is the shortest length of hair required to get a blowout. Either dominican (you can do this at home) or a regular blowout for a poof.

I'm behind on my hair goal of 2 inches by the end of March :( I'll probably hit it mid April or late April. But I wanted to know so I can prepare for it. I tried pressing at home and my hair is coming out really dry and coarse, even though I use heat protectant :/ I want to know how to get it straight without burning it out.

Thanks!

I guess it depends on what type of style you are looking to achieve. Blowing out your hair for a poof I believe would require maybe like four inches. You might can do less but it wouldn't start as far back on your head.

Do you know why you are behind on your goal?

I can't see any mentions on my IPhone. PM me if it is a must see. Allons y

I don't know actually. I don't have any breakage, which is wonderful. When I comb or detangle, nothing comes out. But I know my hair was underprocessed so maybe it's longer than I think? I don't know. My last relaxer was December 5, so technically, I should have two inches of hair growth and right now I have like 1.5 maybe 1.75, so I'm kind of annoyed :/

I really just want to see length.

If you wash you hair in the shower you might be missing tiny bits of breakage from your ends.

You say you have a twa and relaxed in December?

What is your regimen? Daily, weekly and your regimen before blow drying and after blow drying?

I had my last relaxer on Dec 5 and big chopped mid January. So I had less than 1 inch of length then.

Um, I don't really have a set regimen :O I think I"m still just experimenting.

I cowash about every day or every other day. I shampoo maybe once a week. I press my hair once a week usually, weekends.....yep :O

I mainly use wash and gos. I dont' think my hair is long enough for a PS other than braids, which I hated. For blowdrying, I use heat protectant and sit under the dryer for maybe 15 minutes or until it's dry. After, I use the LOC method.

There is a thread called struggling with your natural hair. I can't link because of my phone. Make a post there.

You will have to be willing to change your regimen though. :)
