I want my hair to grow, but am wearing a sew in weave. I spend about 2 hours a day going back and forth to the mirror to see if I have any new growth. I want healthy hair! I want healthy hair!:crying3:

Maybe you should go at it sans weave. :yep: Not against them, but I think hair does better without. Even is it grows under there, not having the weave forces you to take care of your hair and get used to keeping it healthy. Just a thought.

Why does my hair grow so fast but produce no length! At 3-4 weeks post relaxer i feel like I almost have 1/2 inch of growth. I have no idea how this stretching thing is going to work for me :nono:

And I have been trying to moisturize but my hair keeps breaking and shedding like crazy.

Why do I continually have the same sore spot in my crown area. That one spot always feels tender and itches. It won't leave me alone.:sad:

Why is my hair growing in layers, with the middle section being the shortest.:ohwell:

My latest hair issue - my finally BSL hair is now a two inches shorter than APL - breakage and layers growing out
..... :wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash: I am going to slap a weave on it on SATURDAY!!!! I will keep it weaved up until I can figure out an indian product regimen

Underprocessing is the pitts. I'm still learning how to self-perm because it's hard for me to trust the salon again. So far I'm not doing such a good job. But maybe practice makes perfect. :)

My SCALP! The weather turned and my scalp is the flakiest most disgusting thing EVER. It doesn't help that I'm in braids and the flakes get caught and UGH!*cries* I think I'm going to buy a soft toothbrush and literally scrub my scalp ( gently gently ) with a baking sode mix or something, b/c my NG is too thick for me to get everywhere just rubbing it on normally.

SIGHHH, right now I'm in braids because I thought I would transition. But, hubby doesn't care for natural hair (sorry, I ain't go no straight-as-a-cat licked it natural hair!:censored:), yet I haven't seen any natural styles that doesn't look like I'm 10 years old. I was thinking about perming again, but don't have a good salon that can relax my hair the way I want. And I have to make a decision soon because my natural hair is really taking over the relaxed hair, in December it will be a year since my last relaxer, and with the 2 extreme textures the relaxed hair is really thinning and breaking.

I really want to cut my hair!

My longer layers are growing out much faster than my shorter ones. Well is feel that way. As a result, myhair feels then except for the sections that have the same length all over. I can hide it by keeping my hair curly or in an up-do, but I am getting sick of it.

Please help me to stay away from the hair shears!!! :nono:
HoneyDew i'm having the same issues:nono:

I'm not gonna be APL by christmas and I knew this a long time..I don't know why I gave myself this goal...now I'm a bit dissapointed.

also, I took out a sewn in after 7 to 8 weeks, and my hair doesnt look any longer. Hopefully when I relax in December, it will be a bit better...I want long hair so bad, that it hurts.

WHY does everone ELSE get to wear a wash n' go and EVERYTIME I wear one, I get those little knots on the ends of my strands???

I was where HoneyDew is now, and I texlaxed and that took care of that...but now I just feel kinda stuck. (today) I may feel differently tomorrow.

We'll see.

Waves..mine are not uniform, they are there but they are really choppy and sporadic all over my head..I wish they were nice and uniform.

This use to happen to me.

Shortly after joining the sight I discovered all kinds of things...and unfortunately I cant really say which one did the trick.

Here are the changes that I can think of that might have fixed it.

* Nizoral Shampoo (Make sure you do a really good conditioning)
* Flaxseed Oil
* MSM (Make sure you get a good brand)
* Carrot Juice
* More water

Thanks. I want to. I'm taking it out in January. New year, new me! I'm excited, but scared at the same time. I must say, I am already enjoying the fullness in the front that is still out. I love the wavy patten. Thanks HoneyDew

Why can't I reply or post from my computer at work?:bangdesk: Why did they put a web washer filter on it? Why does the back (bottom) of my hair look as if I have gotten it shaved, and I have not!!!!!!:pullhair:Why won't it grow? Y, Y, Y?

you may need to increase protein tx, I have to do this when stretching.

my hair is so friggin dry and dull...I wonder how long it will take to see an improvement from DCing?:look:

I think I might be dealing w/ some breakage issues, which I haven't had in YEARS.

There are some short hairs sticking up on top of my head which were not there a few weeks ago. And there are pieces in the very front of my hair that seem a lot shorter. :nono:

I think it's that stupid satin cap I have breaking off my front. The edges are too rough. I usually wear a satin headband covering my edges underneath the satin cap but the past few weeks I didn't and now I have short pieces.

And I know I was putting wayyyyy too many products in my hair last week and then not combing it through, which made my hair hard in places. Some of the hard strands probably broke off when I touched them or they rubbed up against something.

And I'm pretty sure my moisture balance is off. But I literally have no money to buy a protein treatment. I can't even afford a pack of gum right now.:ohwell:

Ughhhhhhhhhhhh

I feel like crying. I'm such a baby.

Maybe they have one of those mini-packs of protein treatments for like...a dollar.

i DEF FEEL YOU ON THIS ON......IT'LL BE OKAY. If you have any eggs in your fridge, that is a good source of protein (IMO) until you can come up with some money. Just add 1 egg to some conditioner....I am going to do this when I get home tonight.

Why is it that at 8 weeks post (and not being able to do my rollersets because of a wrist injury) that I'm actually kind of falling in love with my natural texture? I've discovered that I'm actually more like a 4a, but I love being relaxed too much to BC.

I'd love to experiment with it, but I have no desire to cut off all my relaxed hair (sigh).
