"Hair Flip" Buns

My S/O went out with coworkers today and came back home with a hair gadget for me. Apparently, I'd been complaining that my buns were starting to look boring and so when he came across a vendor selling "Hair Flips", he grabbed a couple.

My 4a hair is only SL right now so I probably can't use them but I was wondering what you ladies made of these things. I'll wrestle with them on my next wash day but I'm not holding my breath.

Would you wear them? Do you think they'd make for a good protective style? Thanks!

I have the cheaper version of that where it doesn't open, you put it in the middle of the hole and roll it, i haven't had any luck. Hair maybe to thin for it, the device is exposed. I think I have to wait until I'm mbl
