I was just wondering if I am just too involved or what... BUT, if my hair is shedding/breaking, it is all I can think about at work or wherever I am and can not wait until I can get home a give myself some type of treatment to curb was is ailing it... I do not comb often, but if I comb before going to work and see too many hairs in it for whatever reason... I am thinking about what products I used to cause this and what product I can use once I get home to remedy this... I need to get a life, I know... Is this hair obsessed or what... I may need therapy for this one:lol: :lachen:  ...

Oh well, I hope I am not in this boat by myself... Help a lady out, someone, anyone:confused:

No, you're not alone. I go through this quite often. I have found that rollersets have helped me out a lot. I use to hate rollersets, but now I luv them....I don't focus on my hair obsessions as much as I use to now.

im just like you. when my hair's not doing well, im in a bad mood and the next chance i get i log on here to do a search.

I hear you ladies... I tried and tried air drying with hair in a ponytail and it just did not work... I am now roller setting twice a week and my hair is much better... I still stress a little but not as much... I am working on it:D .

Something about those rollersets that reduces the stress. I think it's because when I wear my hair straight, I'm constantly looking at the length of it. Then I feel a need to run a comb through to see if any strands fall out....

^ i had problems airdrying too even when i did a rollerset, my hair always came out dull and frizzy, but now that im using lacio lacio my hair comes out much better.

Lacio, is the bomb... I have it and a few others... Roller sets rock...

I try not to comb once I comb it out.... If I see a strand or few... My day is runt:eek: :look: :perplexed :ohwell:  ...

i feel you, guess. i have those days where i just wanna put my hair in a pony or bun and keep it moving but i cant because my sides are too short.

There are times when I am out and I see women with goregeous flowing hair and I feel like :ohwell:... "Damn. I have to wear this freakin ponytail." It's all a means to end, though. It's just hair and I can't let it exert that much control over me.

I hear you ladies, It does get me mad at times, but I just bun it and moisturize it until I can do something about it... thanks for the input, at least I known I am not alone, and now I can handel it when it happens...:)

When I first joined, I was depressed about my hair period. But I've learned to accept my hair for what it is and I know I've been doing everything I can since joining to improve my hair and make it healthier so I can retain my length as my hair grows long. Sometimes I do random inspections of my hair--I'll comb it and if the hairs are naturally shed with the tiny bulb on the end, I don't worry and I forget about my hair until I decide to do another inspection weeks later. I don't think you can do much to stop/control the natural shedding of your hair anyway.

Definetely!

There is a certain time in the month that I shed like crazy. I cant think if anything else. I count them over and over:lachen:

I have issues, i know:cool:
