Fess up ladies. I know we all have something to admit. I'll go first.

~I was too lazy to wash my hair for the entire week (usually wash every 2-3 days) and I paid the price today. My hair was tangled and dry and I had to work harder during my wash today .

~I am 11wks post and I CAN"T wait to relax next month. This NG is no joke. I may never aim for 16 wks again .

~ Ok- I wasn't really lazy about washing my hair for the week. I just didn't want to see any breakage or vast shedding :nono: when I detangled. Thankfully, I didn't and I was just being paranoid - another :nono: for me.

confessions:

#1) i haven't washed my hair in 2 weeks.:nono: (im an every week washer, but i just got my touchup and i was too inlove with my 'just relaxed hair feeling'. so i went an extra week without washing:ohwell:

#2)ever since my touch-up, i haven't been moisturizing properly. my hair is very uneven so i have to section my hair off to make sure some spots don't get neglected. well lately i've just been slapping product here and sealing there. i gotta stop that immediately

I can't remember the last time I sealed in my moisturizer with my olive oil. It's a shame. Last night, i was sleeping, I mean knocked the **** out and my scarf fell off, I didn't think twice about leaving it right there on the floor. Needless to say, I slept without my scarf last night. Damn My poor edges.

I combed my hair...dry! With a seamed-comb! And I didn't moisturze every day! What will become of me!!!!??

usually i wash every 2 days, and air dry my hair in braids... but i was lazy today, so i put my hair into about 5 fat pincurls, and dried under the dryer

...

and it turned out fabulous!

(i guess that wasn't true confession material, lol)

I blow dried and flat ironed my hair for graduation yesterday and my ends look ok from a distance but when looking at them closely in the light I saw a lot of splits. So I dont know if I should search and destroy or bite the bullet and trim like an inch to get them all. I dont want to lose length bc I want as much length as possible for my wedding in march and hate to lose an inch...but I dont want more splits either.:ohwell:

1) I have figured out the reason I kept getting those L shaped ends and it is totally my fault, shameful I tell you

2) I need a relaxer, I can't wait NO more

3) I really should have let that conditioner sit on a little longer last wash but I was hungry and trying to go out to eat

i confess that i am 8 weeks post relaxer and i actually have a good handle on my newgrowth, BUT Christmas is coming up so i'm relaxing tomorrow. i could definitely get by with a good rollerset and/or flatiron but nooooooooo......i gotta be all weak about it :wallbash:

I too have been lazy and haven't washed my hair in over a week(i usually wash once a week).:blush:Last night after work i really did contemplate it but i dunno what happened. Well i have an appointment wednesday so i'll just let her do it, why not!?

I sometimes rip through knots in my hair. I do it slowly, but I'm still going thru. My hair ain't long enough to start at the ends.

#2
I manipulate my hair A LOT when it wet. I comb conditioner thru, forward and backwards and I do the same with the leave-in :perplexed

Congrats on your graduation!!!

I know exactly how you feel!

1. I have not been doing my nightly routine all week and I paid for it today with bone dry ends and shedding.

2. I had the nerve to put on a chenille hat today without a silk scarf underneath and I can see itty bitty hairs on the inside of the hat. (IT WAS COLD). ps I will wear my silk bonnet underneath it tomorrow.

#1. I keep taking down my bun to play in my hair. (Loving how the thickness feels):drunk:

#2. Scratching my scalp too d**n hard with sharp fingernails. Now my scalp is sore

what is the reason for the l shaped ends, gym?

Congrats on your graduation!!!

thanks chica!

I just got finished doing a search and destroy on those splits. I feel much better!

Also, I decided I dont even like my hair flat ironed. It looks so lifeless and flat/limp. Rollersetting and wrapping looks much better and is much healthier so its a win/win situation!

i used a blowdryer and a curling iron on my hair today... and had to fight the urge to use a flat iron when i got home tonight... :look:

i'm trying my hardest to keep my hair straighter this time around so i can give my scalp the attention that it needs - but this is coming with a lot of heat usage and i haven't used heat regularly in a little over 2 years... i'm inexperienced in it now....

When I get within 2 days of wash day, I don't always moisturize. I figure I'm gonna be d/cing soon anyway....

I only d/c 1x/week even though my hair gets dry by mid-week. I'm too lazy to add an extra d/c session (My excuse is school, even though I have more than enough time on my hands to do it....).

I want to extend my stretch another month cuz I dont feel like paying $ to do my hair. I also don't wanna venture out in the cold to go to the salon. Did I mention I'm just plain lazy?

Sometimes I bend my head back in the mirror just to see what WSL looks like. :look:

When I did the First shikakai wash for the AAA challenge I didn't strain my brew and had little bits n pieces in my hair:blush:. Thats a problem when your hair is dense. You best believe I strained with coffee filters and pantyhose twice for tonights wash!!! Oh and the shikakai oil- I didn't know how drying it was to my hair so I slathered that all over my head and it was the first time that oil made my hair feel funny. No worries though I dampened my hair and ran jojoba oil through my hair and sat under the dryer for 30 minutes. Im gonna "scritch" after i put the shikakai on my scalp only.
I was supposed to do some Xmas shopping today and I didnt:wallbash:
