IDareT'sHair I was out of town all weekend so I didn't get a chance to use any of my new products. THEN tonight I had to slap some dye on my head and do a protein treatment. Now I am steaming :lick: with One n Only deep conditioner stuff :lick: I didn't want to use the Hairveda stuff and not like it tonight. Next week when I steam I will do a half and half head. One side with the Curl Junkie Rehab and the other with the Hairveda stuff (can't begin to spell the name).

Have you tried the One n Only conditioner in the jar + steaming? Make you wanna slap somebody. *looks around for a victim* :grin:
 
Fab_Nikki I have not tried the One & Only Conditioner.

Had the "Argan" Oil before, but gave that up for Pure Argan and never looked back.

That's going to be an interesting experiment. One Half Curl Junkie/One Half Sitrinillah. I can't wait to read that review.:grin:

kupenda I will definitely let you know. BTW should I only use it as a deep conditioner (when I steam) or can I use it as a regular conditioner. Now I am anxious to try it.

I use it strictly as a deep conditioner. I think it's too heavy as a regular conditioner for my needs

Okay so last night tried the Hairveda stuff. Ummmm yeah, no bueno for my natural hair. I happen to look at the Hairveda site right before I hopped in the shower. This stuff is geared more towards relaxed hair it seems. It did nada for me. So kupenda if you want it you still want it holla at me.

Now the Curl Junkie Beauticurls and Rehab are MY ISH!!!!!! I really like the smell of the Rehab and melted any tangles I had. They really need a larger size of that. Between the two, I like the Rehab more but the Beauticurls works pretty well also. However the price for that little container of Rehab is NOT the bidness. I have a big head with thick hair. What am I gonna do with that little bit of product for $20? My HE Hello Hydration gives me similar results. I would probably buy it again on a day when I was saying "forget the price" but I wouldn't seek it out.
 
Fab_Nikki, girl HV aint the bidness for my hair either. i tried the sitrinilla relaxed, transitioning, and natural and it does nada for me. i love love love the whipped ends, whipped gelly and cocasta oil though. but her conditioner are meh for me.
 
chebaby I can't even get the whipped gelly to work for me either. I did ONE 2-strand twist with the Shika(whatever) oil last night and my hair DID like that. The products don't really work for me either. I thank God for her having samples because I'd be HOT right now if I'd purchased the full sizes of other products.
 
My haul review:

KBB Nectar & Butter
The KBB nectar and butter smell divine. I mean DIVINE. DH can't keep his nose out of my hair :lachen: I used them to put in some twists this weekend, and the scent lingered 2 days later.

Maybe I was a little heavy handed with the butter, but it left a bit of a greasy residue. Not so much so that I wouldn't use it again, but enough to bother me a bit. I don't like greasy hair at all...I'm into soft, touchable, non-residue-leaving hair :lol:

Honey Child Type 4 cream
The woman at H&B sold this to me as a sort of QB AOHC replacement :rolleyes: I should have known then the hustle was coming lol. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can replace Qhemet's AOHC in my life. I should know...I've tried and failed many a time.

This product seems like it should work similarly...it has a similar consistency, and especially when used as a sealer over a creamy moisturizer, appears to initially leave hair feeling moisturized. That is, until 24 hours later when I ended up with 3 heads of "hard" hair. Not sure what happend, but the cream left all 3 of my DDs with straw-like hair the next day, despite how promising it felt upon first application. #shrug

I ordered from the On-Line Site. I got 2 Bottles of Darcy's Watermelon Seed Oil and 1 Cherry Oil.

I just did a big DB Haul from Darcy's and one from Sage. But neither offered the Watermelon Seed Oil. :perplexed

It's strange that Darcy's doesn't even have it on her own site.:ohwell:

i only use the whipped gelly to smooth the front of my hair back. it keeps the front of my hair soft and smooth while im in a puff. i only used it on a twist out once over kbb SA and that was the best twist out ive ever had:lick::yep:
i used the cocasta oil on my ends today and my hair is so soft.:lick:
