The comb is stuck.
I Live in NY and have noticed lately that not only are a lot of guys wearing braids, but they are also wearing buns. The last time I went to the BSS a guy with braids came in and was asking for Organic Root stimulater and something else he had heard about. The time before that I saw a dad and son, and sevaral Husbands/boyfriends with their ladies!
This is great! More and more men are taking care of their hair. I have several male friends with long hair who go to the salon for wash and sets and dominican conditioners. One told me that he wanted to take care of his hair now and hopefully he won't be bald later. Another said he wanted it to get long like Bone Thugs. They both have mid back length hair. They are serious about not wearing hats all the time and not perming too. They just need to moisterize more.

Yes, I've noticed that too like when I was at Sally's the other day. I stood there and admired a man's bun for a few moments (that one too and on his head LOL!). His hair was braided in big cornrows all directed up and ending in a braided bun. Very nice - could work for me!

I am noticing things like this too. Men on a whole are changing, they're becoming more conscious of how they look, their health and everything. This is a good thing.

i live in NY also, and i aint feelin a guy in a bun..im sorry, and i really dont like to see grown men with braids also, dred locks, ok, but a bun , relaxer, finger waves..that makes me crazy...but the young guys look cute with thier braids, but its nice that they are taking more interest in their hair health....

Ha ha ha ha ha I'm with you on that one. I like a man to be a man. I"m not into pretty boys at all. My pet peeve is men that grow their nails long ...

Guys are getting more and more into the whole taking care of appearance thing... i.e. manicures, facials, haircare, etc... they are now in a category that is referred to as "metrosexuals"... not gay, just care about taking care of looks... especially now with TV shows like, "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" where gay guys tell them how to get their look together.

I'm sorry....but I just love a clean-cut guy. I just can't bring myself to be find a guy with long hair attractive. If I were single and dating it would be a total turnoff. It just doesn't look professional, at least not on guys my age. If you are in the entertainment business then that's fine, but not for the everyday brotha.

Yeah, I'm not really into guys with buns or guys with long-hair, period! However, if they are wearing it long, it's nice that they are taking care of it!

Same here...a guy is supoosed to play in the girls hair...not the other way around. i couldnt possibly be with a dude whose hair is longer than mine. I think it looks too feminine. Clean cut is what i like. Oh and i visited ny last month and i saw a couple of dudes with a doobie!

Oh yeah braids to me fit more of a teen image but it looks less professional as men get older.....Bow wow did the right thing....now im just waiting for omarion......
