hi this kind of off topic but my auto renewal of lhcf should be today. I recieved a comfirmation email from pay pal, but it looked like it was in chinese I just logged into paypal but its said its doing a random maintaince and needs to verify my complet bank account and credit card number. Has anyone went through this? Im really nervous about entering that info all over again. Im wondering is there is a hacker.

that doesn't sound like paypal. do not re-enter your info. don't follow that link to log onto paypal. type paypal.com in directly, go in, and report this behavior. i wonder if you've already been compromised because you "logged in" through what sounds like a false site. they set up false sites that look like the real thing and when you "log in" they take your log in info to have access to your account. always look careful at what the link is and the address in the address bar as it's usually not the same.

yes i pm Beverly, I used the paypal link in my favorits. I always used that one. I havent entered any info. Im too nervouse too

I frequently use paypal. Although I have not gotten any messages in Chinese, it has asked me to enter more information than normal, and I know it's the paypal site because I use their special ID protection tag where I must enter 6 digits that come from them everytime I enter my ebay seller account and my paypal account. It still asks me to enter my full credit card number after giving me the last two digits only. This is not normal. It asks for info that only the account holder would know. It is a pain, but so is PAYPAL. Still, I would continue to investigate if you are unsure, it's always best to be safe than sorry.
