Guess who\'s dyeing her hair?!?!?!

You guessed it, it's me. This weekend I bought Textures and Tones Bronze haircolor. I know Tracy highly recommended Textures and Tones as a gentle permanent haircolor, so when the color guru advises a hair color brand you listen

My fiance picked out the haircolor...I was like a deer in the headlights looking at all the colors I could choose from

so he was like I think this would look really good on you esp. since it'll be getting warmer soon and how I look tanned (he loves me tanned).

So, I'm going to do it today and I'll tell everyone how it turned out and hopefully this weekend I can steal...oops I mean borrow...my lil sis' camera.

Textures and Tones is a good brand. I'm sure you'll be happy with the results.

Wash and Color the same day????

The box says to do it on clean dry hair, but it says to wash the day before you dye...do I have to or can I do it on the same day?

The only problem I have with hair color is fading. Any words about that brand? What are the long term results?

I have had that brand in for about a month now and fading is th eonly problem I have as well. But I do not wash with poo's for colored hair so I knew that was coming. I love this brand and would recommend it to anyone wwho wanted moisturized permanent color. I did not do a strand test.

I had washed my hair the morning , because I had done the big chop the same day . I was too impatient to do a strand test

LOL!!! That's how I am...too impatient to wait 24 hrs after washing. I washed my hair about an hour ago, so I'll color maybe at 2:30pm.

I did a strand test last night, though

Did you use a red haircolor? Because red is the color most prone to fading.

It came out a very pretty light brown, but silly me I did the strand test with hair that had product on it, so it might be a little different when I do it today on clean hair.
