Guess Who\'s Baaaack?!?!

Hey ladies (& gents, if any) /images/graemlins/wave.gif

I've been away for a while, taking care of things... but I'm back now /images/graemlins/bdance.gif

Lemme tell ya', I truly missed this place! I hope the members are still just as warm, kind & very encouraging as I remembered. Ok, enough with the mushy boring /images/graemlins/sleep8.gif stuff...

Here's my quick bio & update:
1. Relaxed 19 yrs

2. Cared for my own hair (touch-ups, cuts, styles... everything) for 14 of those 19 yrs.

3. Transitioned for 18 mths

4. Maintained an "ABSOLUTELY NO HEAT" & "AIR DRY ONLY" regime for nearly 2 yrs.

5. Cut off the relaxed hair on Oct 2, 2004 /images/graemlins/clap.gif /images/graemlins/trampoline.gif /images/graemlins/clap.gif /images/graemlins/dance7.gif

and finally, 6. Now that I'm natural, I need to find a poo/CO wash/moisturize/protein treatment/oil regime. Basically, I need to find a regime period!!!

Ok, enough with all of that...
Oh, 1 more thing (ok 2)... A lot of ladies (on & offline) have expressed to me that I have really helped them with many of their relaxed hair issues...Now I'm the one in need of help! Please remember that I'm a /images/graemlins/newbie.gif at this (having natural hair)...So if anyone can so graciously offer any tips that can help me maintain healthy natural hair, then I would be forever thankful /images/graemlins/Rose.gif

Lastly, I want to give a GREAT BIG 'OLE HUG to all of the ladies who sent emails, PMs, & expressed warm comments about me on the board. I did a search for my name & was overwhelmed with the luv... see, here I am gettin' all mushy again /images/graemlins/whyme.gif /images/graemlins/spinning.gif ...

Welcome back Peachtree and congrats on your big chop! :dance:

Low manipulation is key for maintaining natural hair. There's braid/twistouts, braids, buns, twists, 'fros. Also, natural hair needs lots of moisture. As far as a regime goes, your hair will tell you what you need and when.

Just try REAL HARD not to become a PJ! /images/graemlins/rofl.gif

Welcome back /images/graemlins/wave.gif I have natural hair too...but I dont really have any advice to give becasue Im still learning as well. I was dying to know if you chppped or not congrats! /images/graemlins/clap.gif
