I did a search but I wanted to know the best method while in butterfly locs. I cut a patch of hair by accident while I was taking down my last set. It's maybe 4 inches long while the rest of my hair is 12 inches long.

I used to use Mane and Tail Grow but the sulfur leads to buildup. Should I just use Sulfur 8 grease? I already take MSM and and Hair Skin Nails Vitamin.

I've never used sulfur 8 products, for build up use a clarifying shampoo or chelating they will remove this.

The best way I find to grow my hair is the least manipulation and not have it tied up all the time. No stress on the scalp by having tight braided styles.
