I went to a young woman a couple times (she stopped doing hair to finish up graduate school. ) who did a lot of older women's hair. I think her clientele was like that because she didn't do fancy styles. Anyways she was very gentle and my hair came out fabulous(!!) both times.
I don't believe in growing hands, but I do feel a stylist who is gentle (and not scissor happy) makes a big difference.
