Greatest Proposal Speech On The Steve Harvey Show

They have known each other for 5 years working at an organization focusing on inspiring youth in the community. She thought the entire segment of the show was to talk about the work they are doing. They have had only a friendship as at one point she was married and has 4 kids. All along he's falling madly in love and decided to bring her on the show to propose. She stated that she did not think he was interested due to her divorce and the fact that she has 4 kids. I too didn't see an immediate connection between the two. Steve actually had to tell them to kiss. For those who saw the show today do u think she felt pressured to say yes? He was genuine, but not so sure about her. Nonetheless he is well versed, which is quite attractive...

He did a great job, but it sounds to me like Steve coached him on what to say and how to say it.

Actually Steve did not have to coach him like he does with other guys on the show. Steve was quite impressed himself how well the guy did.

You can't coach that. He felt genuine to me.
They seem like a lowkey couple in general and I think she was probably more in shock

I didn't get the impression they were dating. His speech reminded me of the proposal in Diary of a Mad Black Woman. Hopefully, she'll fall in love with him if she isn't already.

I loved this! I don't think they were dating, only friends but there was a secret attraction. He knew what he wanted and was serious about it, so I think he just seized the opportunity to just go for it! Dating period completely passed over lol. I wish them the best!
