Great video to CoWash & use the Denman - Thanks ladykpnyc

I had been trying to figure out the denman for weeks and finally get it. Thanks to LadyKPNYC for the video tutorial - http://youtube.com/watch?v=cdKLKhlk7FI

I tried this exact method on my hair then rollerset. It came out great!!! I had only a few hairs in the comb and I think it's because all of the shed hair was in the Denman.

This is a great visual tutorial! I just purchased a Denman brush this past Saturday, and I will definatley use this method in my next hair wash. Thanks for sharing.

Lover her technique. Will totally adopt it.

Wonder how much hair ended up in the brush? Didn't look like any at all. Good for her.

OMG... I can't believe you did this video!

This is the visual Denman Detange Tutorial!!!!

Good job!
I am not brave enough to do that!

:drunk:

Actually I am relaxed, and 8 weeks post and I used the denham brush this weekend. It works. I wash in 4 sections and did one section at a time. I put the condish on then combed with shower comb until smooth. Then used denham, only shedded hair, no pulling or breaking. When setting after there was little to no hair coming out. I really think the denham removes the shedded hair. As I comb only once per week when I wash this is great. My hair, four days after has still not tangled. This is a keeper.

I love her videos as well. This video in particular made me go out and actually purchase the Denman brush. My curls have been banging every since.

I always thought it was bas to brush your hair when it's wet because hair is very weak at that stage?

It is bad because your hair is alredy stretched from wet and weight. Then to add the brushing. I have only co-washed once and saw no difference. But I could do that but not the wet brushing. Not if I co-wash more than once a week in addition to my wash/deep condish.:nono:

Thanks ya'll, I had on a bathing suit, but I didn't want it to show or my SO would have had a fit:lachen:

I love the Denman, it really catches all the shed hair. There wasn't a lot of hair in the brush, I always check. I can't use it outside of the shower though, b/c if my hair isn't soaking wet, it snags. But I still love it:love:

Not for natural hair. It can ONLY be detangled when wet:yep:

OT: god ur curls are so bomb! I want natural hair

Great video Ladykpnyc as usual. A couple of months ago I tried detangling with conditioner on my hair in the shower. My hair just slid out of my scalp. My hair was noticeably thinner. :perplexed I have fine hair, so maybe that was the problem, I dunno, but I can't do that again.

Great Vid LadyKaypnyc! :clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping:
I commend your bravery too!
I did see it b4 this post and was glad that someone demonstrated using the Denman with conditioner in the shower because before I was like....:perplexed.
You have lovely hair and love the song choice for your video too BTW.

Great video - I use the Denman to detangle. Get the real one it's worth it. I had the fake and bought the real one on a whim and it's so much better. I tossed the old one.

Quick question - how often do you detangle? I try to do it once a week (not always with the brush) but I still notice a lot of hair in the brush. Maybe I'm not doing it often enough.

yeah i'm gonna have to break down and buy a Denman. detangling with fingers and combs just takes too long nowadays and cheapie brushes ain't cuttin it :lachen:

i've been wanting to do a detangling vid for a while but i'm still not even that keen on being seen in a bathing suit either... :look: so i comment you LadyKay! maybe i will be brave one of these days too

Once a week...other times I just wash and finger comb. I have fine hair too and I don't have a problem w/ the denman, it also helped with the individual strand knots. I do occasionally use a wide toothed comb when I'm in a rush, b/c the denman takes longer to detangle b/c I have to section off the hair.

HATERS, GOTTA LOVE EM YA'LL:spinning:

It doesn't???:shocked::shocked: Wow! that's good to know :yep::grin: I just think people outside of LHCF assume that it's a weave for that very reason [what your co-worker said].

ETA: thanks for the compliment ;)
