I got a letter of apology from Robin of Growafrohairlong, informing me that she had run out of samples (darn you ladies that got one!) I told her that 1/2 gallon was a bit much for me and by the end of my workday she wrote me back:

"We just put up an econony size detangler to match with this new economy. We aslo have the vitamins back in stock.

We have a new size afro detangler, 16 ounces plus free shipping. It's called the economy size. Yeyyy! making it more affordable to keep the hair growing."

i want to try this product sooooo bad. but i dont know, seems better if i just stick to paul mitchell the detaingler.

Wow, the price differential does not make sense:nono:. 1/4 of the large size should be 1/4 of the cost with a bit added on....active ingredients are so simple to self make!

Unless this comes with a tiny man who will gently detangle my hair with a wide toothed comb then it is ridiculously overpriced.

I have wanted to try this for the longest, but I cringed at the $49 cost & darn, I'm still cringing at the $30 cost. I have to read some LHCF reviews before taking the plunge.

I got the same email. I was kinda mad because people who had requested samples after me recieved theirs and now she is "out "and selling an expensive "economy size" Don't think i will be purchasing anytime soon.

I guess she finally figured it out......
Get some money over NO money.
I would not pay 30 bucks for 16 oz.... But - that is me.

I was about to say, it's about time she had an economy size.
I told her I was willing to pay for a sample when she said she ran out of samples. I just don't have the cash flow to buy a big bottle of something with the risk of it not working. I wouldn't mind spending the $50 if she offered maybe 5 or 10 dollar samples and it worked out for me.
She tried to tell me how she's only had one return in 9 years...whatever.
Now she's gonna make more profit off of this smaller size. $30, really for something 4x smaller? that matches the economy?? seriously? I might NOT try this product just because of her business practices.

I don't think she gets it that people are leery of paying that much for her product. I got the same email from her and I was like "OooooKkkkkkk".

That being said, La Colocha would do you like to share a sample? :D
