GRAPESEED OIL????

I mix w/DC's or pre poos but I also apply very sparingly around the eye area alone or mixed with another eye cream or emu oil. It's supposed to be gentle and good for skin around the eyes.

HTH

I did not know there was a difference between the one you cook with and the one you use on your body (other than price).

I add it to my castor oil and apply to my hair daily. It helps to thin out the castor oil and makes it easier to apply onto my hair.

I love grapeseed oil, it's wonderful (especially the smell)! I first introduced myself to it when i bought my jojoba oil.

I just bought some Grapeseed Oil Vegenaise today, (it's yummy by the way - tastes better than mayonnaise) however, it has no eggs. I sure have been fighting the temptation to use it as a "mayonnaise" for my hair. I doubt it though. It tastes too good. It is a fat, so I know I can't slather it all over everything I eat :ohwell:

Ingredients: Grapeseed oil, purified water, apple cider vinegar, brown rice syrup, soy protein, sea salt, lemon juice, mustard.

Other than the brown rice syrup, I don't see why it would not be worth a try on hair. Mustard oil is supposed to be good for your hair.

Oooh, it sounds good enough to slather on. :yep: I don't know what kind of effect the brown rice syrup and mustard would have though, but the rest sounds good to me!

I just bought some from Camdengrey to whip with shea butter and i ended up with a whole bottle. I only plan on using a tablespoon at most.

Any other uses for grapeseed oil ladies?

This is what mine looks like:

It's harmless. You can use it. I use the "Sadaf" brand of pure grapeseed oil from Whole Foods....no problem.

I use the kind for cooking from Whole Foods. I love it. I like it because my scalp gets oily quickly and grapeseed oil is really light and gives my hair great shine.:yep:

I use grapeseed oil to deep fry my chicken, fish, zucchinni, and french fries it gives the food a nice crisp texture, and if you add lemon juice it'll give it a nice golden color. And I use it right out of the tub on my skin, and on my hair of course.

OMG! You guys haven't seen anything until you've pree-poo'd with it. I apply it pretty generously from roots to tips and massage into the scalp. Heat a damp hand towel in the microwave and wrap around my hair. Then I cover with a plastic cap and wrap a regular sized towel around that for about an hour. This is the steam towel method for those that don't know.
Anyway, my hair is like buttah afterwards. So soft and moisturized, you won't believe what you're feeling. :drunk::grin::yep:
